Art, Mind & Soul: Summer Series

#BLACKARTISTSMATTER

As someone who is no stranger to the ways in which art can heal, I think it’s important to acknowledge the transformative power of Black art and Black artists. Art, Mind & Soul is a safe space I created for Black artists to talk openly about how their ability to create effects their mental health, and the ways in which their Blackness shows up in their work. As a Black creative, I think it’s important to uplift and support those who are using art to make a name for themselves; especially in spaces where there may be a lack of representation.

••• I’m hopeful that their stories will encourage you to embrace who they are and express themselves freely and proudly. •••
